Speech-Language Pathologist since 1971

Presenter of Seminars and Workshops

The all-day seminars and workshops I have presented in cities throughout the U.S. and in other countries (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Egypt, and Romania) have been well-received, with nearly 100% of participants saying they would like to take more seminars/workshops with me and would recommend them to other therapists.  The seminars and workshops provide continuing education for Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Special Education teachers. The interaction of the various professions during the seminars makes the seminars stimulating and particularly valuable for each person.

Most seminars and workshops have been on the topics of "Counseling Skills for Rehabilitation Professionals (SLPs, PTs, OTs)", "Traumatic Brain Injuries in Children and Adolescents", and "A Cognitive-Linguistic Approach for Working with Children with Attention Deficit Disorders" and Auditory Processing Disorders. All of the seminars and workshops emphasize practical and functional therapy strategies and techniques for managing the challenges we face when working with the different disorders and interacting with clients/patients and their family members.
